Job Description:

GRA Consumer Production Operations has an opportunity for a Quantitative Finance Analyst within our Global Risk Analytics (GRA) function. GRA is responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models and analytical tools for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA partners with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure that models and analytics address both internal and regulatory requirements, such as quarterly Enterprise Stress Testing (EST), the annual Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), and the Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) accounting standard. GRA models follow an iterative and ongoing development life cycle, as the bank responds to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions and emerging risks. In addition to model development, GRA conducts model implementation, data management, model execution and analysis, forecast administration, and model performance monitoring. GRA drives innovation, process improvement and automation across all of these activities.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Build and generate Consumer model on-going model monitoring reports.
• Establishing procedures, process maps and controls as new processes are built out and existing processes are improved
• Defining requirements for the Technology platform, performing user acceptance testing prior to models/processes being deployed into production
• Regularly collaborating with key stakeholders involved in the forecast production process, including Model Developers, Model Risk Management, Forecast Administrators, Technology, Lines of Business
• Constantly improving production processes toward operational excellence

Required Skills:
• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science or Engineering or other relatable degree
• 3+ years of relatable work experience such as model development or monitoring
• Expert level programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL
• Able to migrate SAS processes to Python
• Strong background in object oriented programming, database design
• Experience with Data Analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau)
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Desired Skills:
• Experience in leading projects or team in model development or monitoring
• Broad understanding of financial products, markets and risks
• Effective at prioritization/time and project management
• Experience with project management (PM) best practice, familiar with PM tools such as JIRA
• Hands-on and detail oriented, exhibits a “can-do” attitude
• Experience with CCAR, CECL, and on-going monitoring of models
